At the core of Cornell SELP is the opportunity for customized tracks, catering to the diverse needs of executive roles such as CEO, CAIO, CFO, CTO, COO, CMO, and CHRO. This tailored approach ensures that participants not only enhance their expertise but also apply it directly to their respective fields, fostering impactful and transformative leadership. Participants are required to select their track at the start of the program and follow a personalized learning journey.
From immersive in-class sessions held in New York and Singapore to engaging online modules, the 10-month program offers a comprehensive learning experience that bridges global perspectives with applied leadership skills. The Singapore immersion utilizes the city-state as a living laboratory of innovation and competitiveness — connecting participants with organizations across financial services, technology, logistics, and advanced manufacturing. The Cornell Ithaca immersion builds on these insights, applying rigorous faculty-led frameworks to themes of competitive strategy, AI, digital transformation, and change leadership.
The program’s gamified learning experience — featuring award-winning leadership simulations and the Pit Crew Challenge — ensures that participants develop not only strategic insight but also the practical decision-making and team leadership skills necessary to drive organizational success. Participants gain access to Cornell’s library of over 2,000 courses, nine live interactive online sessions, and ten curated track-based courses.
Upon completion, participants qualify for the esteemed Cornell Executive Alumni Status, unlocking a variety of benefits including continued access to Cornell’s on-demand learning library, invitations to future cohort events and keynote series, and a 30% fee waiver on all Cornell online certificate programs for two years.

In this intensive module, participants will develop an understanding of how to boost individual and collective creativity and get an appreciation of why so many organization look at creativity as an important strategic capability. Unleash your personal and organizational creative potential with interactive lectures, case study discussions and experiential exercises.
The goal of this module is to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of how and why operational decisions are integral to the success of an organization. First participants explore the question of how a firm's operations should be structured so as to be consistent with the firm's chosen way to compete. Then participants will consider the question of what operational activities should remain in-house and what should be done by a business partner and the long-term implications of these decisions on competitive advantage and the issue of managing the business relationships with supply chain partners. The module will force participants to consider key decision categories in operations, e.g., capacity decisions, process choices and managing networks, and shows how these decisions can lead to distinctive capabilities.
